Xinyu Ma

I am Xinyu Ma, a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at UCLA, under the supervision of Prof. Lixia Zhang. I am now a Graduate Student Researcher in the Internet Research Laboratory (IRL). I am working on Named Data Networking (NDN). My current research focuses on decentralized applications on networking and network algorithms.

I received a B.S. in Software Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in June, 2017. During my undergraduate years, I was a member of Algorithm Lab, focusing on algorithm and ICPC contest. Our team got 3rd place in two 2016 Asia Regional Divisions and ranked 57th in the 2017 World Final. I also joined the Robotics Lab and attended 2016 RoboCup China Regional. Our team got 3rd place in Open Middle Size League Science Challenge.

After that, I went to Discrete Mathmatics Lab in Kyoto University to study graph theory. Supervised by Prof. Hiroshi Nagamochi, I did research on graph isomorphism algorithms. I dropped out and came to UCLA in the September, 2018.

馬キンウと申します。カリフォニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA）の計算機科学（情報学研究科）所属する学生です。 指導教員は張　麗霞教授です。 今は情報ネットワーキング研究室（IRL）で院生研究員として、 名付きデータネットワーキング（NDN）について研究しております。 研究テーマは分散型アプリケーションとネットワークのアルゴリズムなどです。

平成２９年六月、北京理工大学でソフトウェアエンジニアリングの学士号を取得いたしました。 大学の四年間、アルゴリズム研究会で、アルゴリズムの勉学や国際大学対抗プログラミングコンテスト（ICPC）に身を投げて、 チームを組んでアジア地区大会に第３位を二回取得し、平成２９年の世界大会に参加しました。 同時、ロボット研究会も参加し、平成２９年のロボカップ中国大会で、 開発したシステムが中型リーグのサイエンスチャレンジの第３位を取得しました。

その後、平成３０年に京都大学に入学し、情報学研究科数理工学専攻の離散数理研究室に所属し、 永持　仁（ひろし）教授の元で、 グラフの同型判定アルゴリズムについて研究を始めました。 同年九月に退学してUCLAに転校しました。
